Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 March 2026

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before creating an account or using SEAG Success. By registering for or using the SEAG Success platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who We Are

SEAG Success ("we", "us", "our") is operated by its founders, a husband and wife who are both Northern Ireland-based educators. For any enquiries relating to these terms, please contact us at admin@learningsuccess.co.uk.

2. Who Can Use SEAG Success

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. SEAG Success is designed for use by P6 and P7 primary school pupils under the supervision and responsibility of a parent, guardian, or teacher. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and accept responsibility for any children added to your account.

School accounts may be created by authorised teachers or school administrators on behalf of their school.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials (email, password, child's username and PIN) secure and confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring the information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date
  • Notifying us immediately at admin@learningsuccess.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe credentials have been compromised or these terms have been violated.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the platform. No payment card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, access continues only if a paid subscription is activated.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Current prices are displayed on our Pricing page. Prices are in British pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until that date. We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

4.5 Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason (the "cooling-off period"). To exercise this right, please email us at admin@learningsuccess.co.uk within 14 days of your subscription start date. Please note that if you have accessed paid content during the cooling-off period, we may deduct a reasonable amount from any refund to reflect the service already provided.

4.6 School Subscriptions

School site licences are subject to a separate agreement negotiated at the time of purchase. The terms of that agreement take precedence over this section where they differ.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or allow others outside your immediate family to use your account
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publish any question, passage, lesson content, or other material from the platform without our express written permission
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract content from the platform by automated means
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose, including tutoring businesses, without a commercial licence
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems
  • Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content

Breach of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the SEAG Success platform — including but not limited to questions, passages, lessons, explanations, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to SEAG Success and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

7. School and Teacher Responsibilities

Schools and teachers who access the platform on behalf of pupils confirm that they have appropriate authority to do so, that they have informed parents or guardians of the platform's use, and that they will comply with their school's own data protection and safeguarding policies. Schools are responsible for ensuring that only authorised pupils are enrolled on their account.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

SEAG Success is designed to support revision and exam preparation. We do not guarantee any particular result in the SEAG transfer test or any other assessment. Past performance on the platform is not a reliable predictor of actual exam outcomes.

The platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be available at all times without interruption. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical issues promptly.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of Northern Ireland.
